All that happened is the block ID's have changed, to fix just go into mcedit and change the the blocks labelled as "Future Block!" to their usual ID and it'll be fine.
Still in 14w27b
This happens with me, however the command does get executed, just the output in the command block says otherwise.
It also happens in the spawn chunks and also affects my processor and graphics card. Intel i7 3520m and nVidia 635m
It's even worse in 14w25b
This issue has not been rectified in Snapshot 14w25a
When this happens, the entire launcher freezes therefore the Development Console just stops.
This has been incorrectly marked as resolved.
I forced a crash report and this is what I got.

This issue is not resolved, can a mod please change this.
The Development console crashes before I can get too it, but I've attached an image of the Java Platform SE Binary for Minecraft (The Lowest One) and the the separate one that minecraft starts using 75% of my CPU. I have completely deleted and reinstalled Java from my computer but the issue is still happening.
Apply's to original resource pack too. See new attached photo's.
It is not a resource pack error as I have changed back to default and it still occurs.
I forgot to mention that they are not full snow blocks, they are 4 layers worth of snow.
I have just discovered that it isn't another instance of minecraft running after I close it, it's another "Java SE Platform Binary" that seems to open after a while of running minecraft and starts using 70-80% of my CPU.
Restarting my PC solved this.
I'm not 100% sure its the redstone, I would test it on another world but i'm very busy making this map right now :/
This is my problem, the game isn't technically crashing. Well, for starters it doesn't produce a crash-report and what happens is the game just starts to stutter even though im still at 60fps. Every time this happens, I close the game only to find that it is still running in the background using 70-80% of my CPU and when I relaunch to go onto the save I was previously on, the game hasn't saved my progress from around 5 minutes prior to when the stuttering started.
I have also had this issue.
Also happens when disabling VSync on nVidia Geforce 635m
