this should be readded. you could create chainmail armor and other cool stuff!

no, the item form was removed, also you can still get it from villagers, it was never posible to get this in your inventory without hacks
even though it doesn't serve much of a point aside creating the block fire and chainmail armor, item Fire doesn't seem like that much of a thing that's worth getting rid of. It would still be nice if people COULD potentially use it for crafting in something like an adventure map because there would still be a point to even having chainmail armor in the first place (given it is pretty much the same as having iron armor). Now Mojang probably has its reasons for removing this, but if it didn't take away from the game by just keeping it, it would be very nice to just let it stay that way.
Fire was removed because it was a technical block.
