If a tamed dog is sitting and it's owner is far enough away that it would teleport if standing, you can push the dog into water and it'll teleport to it's owner.
It seems that this will trigger the dog's shaking water animation and when it does, causes the dog to teleport to it's owner. You see the animation just a bit before it teleports.
This was tested on a small white-listed multiplayer server in survival. I have not tested on LAN or a large multiplayer server.
Is this still a concern in the current Minecraft version? If so, please update the affected versions in order to best aid Mojang ensuring bugs are still valid in the latest releases/pre-releases. If this has been done, we can reopen the issue.
