[MC-58132] Spectator Mode Layer glitch

When being in spectator mode and pressing the highlight players button, the game makes a black and white layer instead of doing what it is supost to do.

I am also having this problem. Whenever I told the Highlight Players key, the whole screen flashes black.

I heard a rumour that this is "Works as intended" and the black screen is meant to better highlight the player positions. I hope that's just a rumour though.
