Floating lava lakes EVERYWHERE?!

At first I thought it's just a glitch, until I found several places with this problem. It's more likely to happen with the lava sea setting "on".

My lava blocks said:"Yay!! I can finally fly! XD"
Just kidding~

Attached 6/24
They're almost EVERYWHERE!!! :I
Actually I haven't found a place that works all right now LOL XD

Please provide seed and coordinates (F3)

They're almost EVERYWHERE!!! :I

Seed: 108181935
Biome: Mesa
Lava ocean on.

Cannot confirm with the said seed / coordinates.
Probably custom world: Please attach the custom world preset

he did:

Biome: Mesa
Lava sea on

I guess he didn't change anything else so it would be:

There is no "Lava sea". Only "Lava Ocean" and "Lava Lake".
Have no time to test all the possible permutations of the custom world.
Attaching the preset is quite easier.

Happened in 14w27a and b.
If any mod is able to reproduce it, mark this bug "Confirmed" please, thanks~ 🙂

I am still not able to confirm this, sorry.

Oh... 😞
Could you please ask any other mods if they are able to reproduce it?
Thank you~

I've try it on 3 PCs and they all "works well". 😛

Description:
A lava ocean [within an ocean without water] is not filling the whole space and has a gradual shelf extending out from it, with a space underneath. When you place a block next to the floating lava blocks the lava starts to act like normal, spreading from the floating blocks. There are before and after block placement screenshots attached. 2014-08-22_13.29.05.png, 2014-08-22_13.29.40.png, 2014-08-22_13.29.57.png and 2014-08-22_13.36.08.png are the screenshots that pertain to my example.

It's happened to me in 1.8 before.
