Hoppers use wood sounds for placing / breaking

confirmed. but I don't know if this is a bug. I mean, there is a chest build into it

I agree this is a bug, although it does contain a chest, it uses stone on the outside as it's recipe, so you would think it would sound like stone.

do the words "Work In Progress" or "Developer Art" mean anything to you silly people? The icon says "WIP", and the block itself is incredibly buggy and currently uses textures from another block. The Beacon went through like, 8 aesthetic and crafting changes before being released.

Though I do like (as well as share) the "Report everything you find" mentality, as long as you search for similar issues first.

Possibly tied to the fact that it is made of stone and is mined faster with an axe?

This issue is about the hopper sounds, and Dinnerbone only changed the tool used to break them to a pickaxe, so it's still a valid issue.

This is not a "wood" sound. Clay, command blocks and stone also make this sound.
