I decided a couple days ago to update my Minecraft Server to 14w27b. I was not using Minecraft Realms for the server. After I updated the server all seemed well. But, when I logged in the entire world was corrupted. Blocks were missing, chests vanished, and every tree in loaded terrain disappeared? So, what I did was restored my server to a previous save file. After this I changed the update Snapshot back to 14w25b... The one that worked well. After this was done, it helped nothing. It DID revert back like it was supposed to, but the corruption apparently spread the restore points. I honestly tried everything I could, but nothing seemed to work. If anyone has some suggestions I'd appreciate them, as I have owned this particular world for quite some time now and I miss it. I don't know if this well glitch has happened to anyone else, but if it has please let me know.. It would really help

Thanks Guys!!

These are pictures of my Minecraft Server after I had restored it to a previous save. As you can see it is still corrupted.

did you use 14w26a/b for the server if so, this is unfixable and you have to load a backup made before using that snapshot

Well, I did have a backup, and those pictures you see are OF the back up.... they didn't help at all once i had restored to them...

are you sure they didn't get tuched at ALL by those snapshots

I am 100% ... I didn't even know about 14w27b when those backups were first made. Thanks for the help 🙂

Well.... it appears things are still not doing so well on my Server. And about the logs, they won't show up when I "start" the server. When I try to refresh it, it will still say it is running, but it will not say the logs. Sigh, I will keep trying to get the logs, if I can I will paste them into the comments.

Thanks for your help!

Don't start the minecraft_server.exe , start minecraft_server.jar, see MC-32850.
Regardless of that, the server should create a directory logs where you have latest.log and the archives of the older logs.
