[MC-62170] Carpet has incorrect height?

If you put a carpet in a 2 high gap, you can't walk through it anymore. The carpet seems to increase your Y value. I think in previous versions, it didn't.

Confirmed, walking on carpet raises Y position slightly, which it didn't in 14w28b.
Might be intended.
