When there is a block behind an item frame and you brake it, there wil be a deleay on ca. 4 sec before the item frame breaks.

I think it might be a feature, making it easier to change the block behind an itemframe, without having to replace the frame and content.
Good when you're changing a whole wall filled with frames.
