As Comparators can now receive redstone signal from containers based on inventory capacity, and since Hoppers work with storage minecarts, I thought I could create an automatic station that not only unloads carts, but then sends them away when emptied.
Tested using storage carts on all types of rails, and off sitting on the ground. Carts were initially tested completely full at first, then tested again halfway full.
EDIT: After writing I thought of the fact that maybe this functionality hadn't been added yet, but since hoppers work, why wouldn't comparators?

I figured that, which is why I was hesitant to call it a "bug" but I agree that it does indeed work fine, just have to be a bit more creative

It works if the minecart it's over a detector rail.
@David: they do now, previous to this snapshot that didnt work...
Still kinda annoying though...
Affects to many snapshots later also
No, now you can do it by putting it on a detector rail with a comparator coming out.
Ok thanks, now i can ready my machine 🙂
Comparators can only work with blocks, not entities. I realize that this seems kinda inconsistent, but I think it works as intended for now.
