  1. Perform this command

    /worldborder center ~ ~

  2. Then this

    /worldborder set 1

  3. And then kill yourself

    /kill @s

You will probably respawn on top of the worldborder

Confirmed for Minecraft v1.8.3.

Confirmed for 1.9, but if the center of the worldborder is exactly in the center of a block, it works just fine
