Textures for iron doors that are cut in half in snapshot 14w32d are missing depending on location relative to the door, the top texture, however, is always missing.
In all of the previous snapshots from 14w20c to 14w32c, the textures for the iron door cut in half were always there on all sides.
Instead, the textures on certain sides of the door (the door being the lower half), relative to where you are around the door. The screenshots will illustrate this.
The top 2 pictures are of what the bug looks like in 14w32d, the bottom 2 pictures are what it is supposed to look like, and it is what it looks like in snapshots 14w20c to 14w32c.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Place down iron door in snapshot 14w32d
2. Go into MCEdit, select upper half of door, delete. Save.
3. Go back into minecraft and check it out.
This is usually a good technique to use for aesthetics on certain builds, and a personal favorite of mine, but this assumed bug is ruining it for me, and other people that I know of.

I don't know if this can still be considered invalid / working as intended, but it has been possible to reproduce this bug using /setblock for quite a while now.
This issue affects all door types, not just iron doors. It can be reproduced using /setblock, as mentioned by @unknown, and can also occur without commands, as the texture is no longer visible when inside the door. The problem is not limited to the bottom half of the door; the top half is also missing a texture on the bottom face, which was not an issue before 1.8. Can confirm this has been an issue since 14w32d, when more wooden doors were added. Please reopen this bug report, or let me know if it's better to create a new one.
Is this reproducable without using unsupported 3rd party programs? If so, you can request a reopen, because this is Invalid due to usage of 3rd party programs.
