Mobs think daylight sensor is a full block, causing them to jump while trying to get off it

Not sure if these are the same or 2 different bugs but:
When mobs 1. stand on daylight sensors, snow layers, and other less than one meter tall blocks or 2. fall a long way the jump like crazy. They can fall from 2 to 16 meters or stand on most blocks that aren't 1 meter tall blocks to cause this.
