Crazy Ocean Monster in Glass Super flat World

I made a super flat world out of glass blocks but as soon as I spawned there was a drastic frame rate loss until I realised there was huge monsters (what looked like ocean guardians) in their hundreds and there were hundreds of Ocean Temples stacked side by side under me.
