Be careful when you attach the crash report, Kumasasa might tell you it's a broken graphics driver like he tells everyone else that has had the game crash on them.
I'm sorry for that, it's just my aggrivation showing bcuz I tested minecraft 1.8 on both windows and linux and when a mod doesn't see the issue I'm talking about without going through the same tests that I have and I'm told right away that it's a broken graphics driver it means you're passing off as nothing is wrong, when I'm clearly not the only person who is noticing a coding bug. I'm a computer technician/programmer I see these things from what I do for a living and when I see a post that is setup rather quickly shutting me down to help figure out the problem to make me look like an idiot, I get frustrated. So I do apologize for saying that out of negativity.
@@unknown: MC-70781 and MC-70455 show the same crash.
Here you see two versions of the resolution, a long one and a short one, both carrying the same amount of information:
Long version:
The crash report shows:
Problematic frame:
C [*ig4icd32.dll*+0x104a77]
The crash happened *outside* the Java Virtual Machine *in native code*.
See problematic frame for where to report the bug.
What is iglicd32.dll doing on my computer?
iglicd32.dll is a OpenGL belonging to Intel Graphics Accelerator Drivers for Windows NT(R) from Intel Corporation
Source: http://www.processlibrary.com/en/directory/files/iglicd32/402145/
This is a crash ouside of Minecraft, LWJGL and even outside of Java ("in native code" means compiled code, not bytecode for the JVM).
The only organisation responsible for that is Intel. We can't do anything about this, but you might try to check at the Mojang Support Center, especially the Minecraft Help Chat might have a solution for this problem.
Short version:
Broken Intel graphics drivers.
This is a technical support issue; this site is for bug reports only. For technical support please use the Mojang Support Center.
Now, please tell me, what's wrong with any version of the resolution ?
So then the issue must be with OpenGL and not necessarily the games code. Did Mojang start using OpenGL 2.0 for Minecraft as of the 1.8 update? P.S. sorry Joakim Stenström for everything I've said I just misunderstood what I was being told by Kumasasa and I apologize once again Kumasasa for what I had said, I was wrong and I know that I need to buy a new laptop but I currently don't have the funds to buy the computer that I want which would be updated to run the current version of Minecraft so I might have to stick with Linux to run it for now especially if Mojang is running Minecraft on OpenGL 2.0 as they have been planning on doing for quite some time.
Incomplete without a crash report from (

). Please attach it so that we can diagnose your issue.
