Hopper Clock Glitch

Put the summary of the bug you're having here

What I expected to happen was...:
When I log onto a single player world, my hopper clock should work.
The clock went hyper, and there was no output signal.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Make around 5 hopper clocks
2. Close your world
3. Come back and find one that isn't working

This happend to me too. But also sometimes the items in the hopper clock were duped when the chunk was unloaded.

HEY!!! I think I figured out what the problem is !!!

I noticed this too, at first I thought it was a chunk update glitch but it isn't at least for me.

Snapshot !.8.2 pre 4 <-- pre 4. is what I am using atm.

The duplication bug is still affecting some hoppers. At first there is 1 item. Then every so often I come back in the world there are anywhere between 3 and 7 items once there was almost 15. It doesn't happen all the time though. So I am not really sure what causes it. Sometimes it corrects itself and all the other items disappear again.

Thank you for noticing this too! What I've been doing instead is using the redstone block timer instead of the hopper one until it gets resolved. here's a link if you want to use it also: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rskhtwaI2ug

Is this still an issue in the current Minecraft Snapshot 15w45a or later? If so, please update the affected versions in order to best aid Mojang ensuring bugs are still valid in the latest releases/pre-releases.

Ticket resolved as incomplete, because no answer in a reasonable amount of time (1+ year), if it still happens, please update the ticket.
