Picture/Item Frame on a wall with fence underneath does not work

If you have a wall and a fence before the wall and you want to place a picture/ item frame on the 1,5 st block of the fence at the wall it wont work. just try it 🙂

Recreated, if you place the frame first then place the fence beneath it after a few seconds the frame will drop off, it creates an entity when it falls off, even in creative mode.

Confirmed in 1.4.5.

of course its fixable, all they have to do is make it so the 1.5 height of the fence, does not do anything do item frames.

Hitboxes collide, itemframe pops off.

This still happens in 1.7.4.

Just ran into this myself with 1.7.10. You can put a torch above the fence but can't put the an frame.

This is still here in version 1.11.2.

But the frame only pop when the fence is connected to the block under the frame.
