On slow computers (or computers that experience lag), then sometimes, flying or any other action that requires double-tapping will sometimes fail to work. This is especially annoying when trying to fly out of the void and dying, or just attempting to fly in general. Is this a Java-related issue?

Is this still an issue in the current Minecraft Snapshot 15w46a or later? If so, please update the affected versions in order to best aid Mojang ensuring bugs are still valid in the latest releases/pre-releases.
Please force a crash by pressing F3 + C for 10 seconds while in-game and attach the crash report
