[MC-72234] Missing Textures 1.8

Some older mushroom blocks | leave blocks | wooden slabs | and stone slabs

All have their textures missing in 1.8

When you hover over the item - I also noticed wooden slabs and stone slabs have the wrong description (wondering if their files got switched) ?

To obtain a wrong item in singleplayer type:

/give (name) minecraft:leaves 1 6

Please pardon me if you have already checked on this, but many people forget they are running a texture pack when they upgrade to 1.8. If the texture pack hasn't been updated to match certain changes (like enchanting using lapis now, for a random example), issues like this may occur.

There are no leaves with data value 6.

I was not running any texture pack... and in single player I typed the leaves give command - and most of the older ones don't have a texture... 6 was just an example (but it gives me a leave) with purple and black block texture.

Yes, understand, but again, you're issuing the give command with non-exisiting blocks thus you'll get the missing texture.
