Bruh I know you need to put it as always active, it Litterly doesn’t work.
I have the same problem
I will say that on 'Server Resource Pack' based servers:
If I am teleported between worlds or servers it would kick me about 80% of the time, and me have to constantly keep re-logging in.
That occurred on Windows 7.
I tried updating java to latest (multiple times), updating all my drivers (multiple times), tried using versions 1.8.6/7/8, tried multiple accounts, even tried a secondary launcher, and it still occurred.
I updated to Windows 10 a few days ago, and it has not happened a single time.
I was not running any texture pack... and in single player I typed the leaves give command - and most of the older ones don't have a texture... 6 was just an example (but it gives me a leave) with purple and black block texture.
Is the resolution able to be changed now that 1.8 is basically fixing the iron ingot-farming issue?
Over a year since MC-2430 was resolved ... Things now changed, so why not look here for a re-write? --> https://mojang.atlassian.net/browse/MC-42476
When F1 is toggled 'and' looking into 'all' container objects, viewing player inventory, or pressing escape - all those things allow for f3 menu, chat, hotbar, etc to be visible in the background ....
F1's function was to make all those aspects disappear ... but since all container objects now have a gui of the player inventory within it's own gui - the F1 function is currently void.
I reworded this - this is not a feature suggestion per-say ...this is a bug ... the f1 doesn't work when you are looking inside container objects ... and it should maintain it's purpose throughout all events - which is to hide the hotbar ...
yeh - i just tested, it worked fine - i forgot that when i found this bug, i was in multiplayer ... so it's not a mojang problem - We're good 🙂
I saw that too ... i'm meaning even if you do one at a time ... they explode on impact without being charged
It has been a few months, but this is still able to occur - I'd like to do a post update real quick: With 1.5 update there are now hoppers ... The iron golem's dropping iron ingots endlessly and with the hoppers, can fill up chests automatically with ingots unless if the farm's are destroyed. My suggestion, like with the last one - Just like how a snow golem is crafted using snow blocks and a pumpkin and doesn't drop the same items used to craft it with, the iron golems could do the same, drop a generic item like the roses only.
I'll reword it then - we must be viewing the perspective of 'duplication' differently ... I'm not meaning it's taking iron ingots and actually duplicating them; I'm saying Iron Golems can be falsely spawned outside of a village and repeatedly killed in vast numbers to obtain a large quantity (about a Double-chest an hour max by just standing still) of iron ingots. Maybe you say 'This' works as intended - but it 'Is' still considered an exploit - for people can, in a sense, cheat to obtain iron ingots quickly - instead of just mining for them as originally intended. (Side note: If people want that many iron ingots by cheating - they might as well use creative mode to give themselves the ingots.)
Almost all servers are modded in some way - or they're vanilla ... I play on Empire.us - I think they use bukkit - but custom code most things.
Sometimes this happens in PC/Mac version as well - most times this is caused by one of two things:
1) A glitched torch - that was broken but since you haven't re-logged the light might show.
2) There is lava/a light source on the other side of the wall/blocks - and it is 'leaking' through.
Hope either of those helps - ekl
Suggestion: If this has a similar description system as the Xbox Version - then you will only be given a description once you go to the nether, walk up to glowstone, and actually click it or obtain it.
Not sure if that is what's happening, but hope it helps - ekl
@Kara Cynthia - If you hover your mouse at the top, at the icon where it says 'Resolved' it should tell you (Resolved - A resolution has been taken, and it is awaiting verification by a reporter. From here issues are either reopened or closed.) In other words meaning, they have got the issue and are deciding if it is something that needs to be dealt with now, if it has been 'fully resolved' and can be closed, or if it can be something that may be 're-opened' and looked at by more people either later, now, or in a complete new thread all together.
Hope this helps - ekl
As most of the Mods will say, 'Pocket Edition is not the same as PC/Mac Version ... and things will be added/changed at different times and if it seems necessary'
As for hearing sound delays - it might have to do with the amount of RAM on your iPod Touch ... if there is not a lot of memory going towards an app or program, it might take awhile for the app/program to register commands.
Thanks for posting this, though - ekl
Update on what I said - I noticed you have iOS - iPhone4 ... and that you have Minecraft Pocket Edition selected ... It is to my knowledge that just like the PC to Xbox compatibility, the Pocket Edition to PC/Mac Edition are not compatible in connecting together.
As I recall LAN means (Local Area Network).
So basically, if you set up a LAN game then you can only play with people who live on your network (eg.] In your house, at your school, in your community, at a library, basically anything that is ... well local).
If you want to play with a friend long distance I would suggest either Craftbukkit or Hamachi.
Hope this helps - ekl
@Kumasasa - That is true, it 'IS' working, however, as I may recall Iron golem's original feature was to spawn in a village and protect the villagers from humans and mobs.
Snow golems can be crafted with 2 snow blocks and a pumpkin - and when killed drop around 8 snow balls (2 snow blocks worth)
Iron golems can be crafted with 4 iron blocks and a pumpkin - and when killed drop around 3 - 5 iron ingots and 0 - 2 roses.
-However, Iron golems may also 'spawn' in an area where players can trick the system into thinking an 'iron golem may spawn here' that the area is in a villager village, by placing boxes with villagers in them on the edges of a holding cell, and placing doors around it ... that way they may spawn, fall down away from the spawning cell, and spawn more - essentially an infinite source of iron ingots.
I mentioned this to some communities/servers themselves, and most of the players who voted of keeping them up - I checked and found out they already had some iron golem farms, were earning huge amount of ingots (few double-chests every few hours) .... and selling them for a large price (on economic servers).
The ones who voted we should see if we could have the 'exploit' removed - wanted original game play and said 'Iron should only be obtained through hard work, such as mining or buying it from the store (The servers economy shop)'.
IMO I think it should be removed as it's taking away from the spirit of game play, much like the sand-generator, gravel-generator, and duplicators did - I believe this is similar, and should be considered in a non-biased, yet 'what will the outcome be?' stance.
Thanks for reading my comment - ekl
I agree, doing commands on console has become much harder with this update that I’ve seen many people quit commands all together!
