Steps to Reproduce:
In Minecraft: Bedrock Edition (Windows) 1.21.90+, obtain a structure block, place it, and change the mode to "3D Export" from the drop down.
Resize the bounding box area to include a structure containing blocks (entities won't be exported) using the size and offset XYZ coordinates.
Click the "Export" button at the bottom of the menu and save the
GLB
to your files.Open the
GLB
file in any supported 3D software (e.g. Blender).
Observed Results:
The GLB
model is missing textures for almost all blocks. Blocks appear either solid black or pink (or blue in the case of water; see first attached image). This same result occurs when exporting from the structure block with or without texture packs, in different worlds, and with different structures.
Expected Results:
In versions before 1.21.90, the exported GLB
would contain the appropriate textures for each block (see second attached screenshot).
Impacts:
This limits users who rely on these feature in modeling and 3D design, typically used for thumbnails or creating a portfolio. Therefore preventing people from earning paid commissions, disallowing creators to provide a living or financially support themselves.

I know many creators, artists, and animators who use this feature on a regular basis. Hope it gets fixed soon!
Of all the times to start 3d modeling, I had to pick the summer where the game breaks all my imported background textures. SOS, please fix this MOJANG. I know it seems really niche but its a worthwhile investment to promote minecraft bedrock!
With this bug it hurts content creators from the Bedrock edition side. Fix this bug.
