When loading a certain resource pack, the broken error message

ResourcePack: ignored non-lowercase namespace: %s in %s

is triggered:

[15:11:46] [Client thread/WARN]: ResourcePack: ignored non-lowercase namespace: %s in %s
[15:11:46] [Client thread/INFO]: SoundSystem shutting down...

Steps to reproduce:

Download and install [XDB's Misa Realistic Resource Patch [1.8] |http://www.minecraftforum.net/forums/mapping-and-modding/resource-packs/2255976-xdbs-misa-realistic-resource-patch-1-8-updated-26]
Start Minecraft
Use the resource pack

the "ignored non-lowercase namespace" seems to be a common error. Currently looking for a fix myself. Will post if/when I find a solution.

You just had a mixed case directory within your assets/ folder

Regardless of the cause of the error (that's not the point here), the error message itself is (was?) borked:

ResourcePack: ignored non-lowercase namespace: %s in %s

Assuming that %s in %s should be the borked path...
