Make a command block redstone clock using /setblock ~ ~1 ~ redstone_block 0 destroy, put a sticky piston on the side of the redstone block facing the redstone block, turn on and off the piston in one tick (so that the redstone block is not touching the command block) and turn on the piston again. This creates a redstone block that is real (can mine using a pickaxe in survival and drop the item).

I tried and it also happens in 1.8.1 vanilla.
Edit: Optifine is a mod that allows you to have better fps, it doesn't change any game mechanics.
Here is a video of me doing this glitch in vanilla:

I'm afraid I don't see the bug in this. When using setblock, you are repeatedly creating a block. When the redstone block is pushed aside, a new block is created in it's place. Is there something I'm not seeing?
I had issues with this when trying to run the clock to fast, tick it down to 4tps or use 2nd command block to set air to the redstone on 2nd cycle.
@CubeTheThird (or however you reply to a specific person) The redstone SHOULD behave like this: The redstone block powers the command block, the command block destroys the redstone block to create another one on and on. When the redstone block is pushed aside, it should stop the command block from creating ANOTHER redstone block to continue the loop but it just keeps going.
