The wording of the "hot topic" achievement may confuse new players, as to make them think they need to use stone instead of cobblestone.

It's pretty hard to get smooth stone without a furnace! 😛

Confirmed for 1.8.4.

It is impossible to craft a furnace with 8 stones. So Confirmed for 1.8.5, 1.8.6 & 1.8.7.

Affects 15w47a & 1.8.8

Actually fixed in 1.10.
