Pressure Plates textures look like they are cut instead of pressed

When you stand on a pressure plate, it will be powered. In real life, if you stand on a pressure plate, the bottom part of the plate will go into the wall or something, and the top part will be moved towards the wall. The pressure plates in Minecraft are not like that. They look like they are cut, or carved from the unpowered pressure plates. The pressure plates are only noticeable when using HD textures. In the screenshot, I used Faithful 32x, for the pressure plate. I will provide a solution model .json file in the attachment.
