When you have a blindness effect you still can see the beam that comes from a beacon.
To reproduce
Build a beacon
Give yourself blindness effect
Walk away from the beacon
→ ❌ You can still see the beacon's beam

Confirmed. Tested also with night vision + blindness ( to make the whole game unplayable except see the beacon light). This can prove useful for blind parkour.
