On macOS, the "drop item stack" shortcut conflicts with the "quit Minecraft" shortcut

Workaround

Hold down the Fn/Globe key along with Command and Q, or rebind "drop item" to something else.

On Windows and Linux, you can drop a stack of items by hovering over it and pressing control+Q. On macOS, this shortcut is changed to command+Q (MC-22882), causing it to conflict with the shortcut for closing the app. macOS allows the player to bypass this problem by holding down the Fn/Globe key along with command and Q, but this is rather cumbersome and not widely known about, so many Mac players feel as if they are missing a feature.

If the "drop item stack" shortcut were changed to control, as it is on Windows and Linux, both MC-22882 and this issue would be fixed.

Just found out about this as I was experimenting with something.

A few versions back we had to use the CTRL-C and -V to copy and paste things, which now have been resolved, but it seems like the CTRL for dropping the full stack has been moved along with it.

This is still an issue even in the latest version (1.8.8)!

Is this still a issue in the latest version of the game(currently 1.13.1)?

If so, please add it to the affected versions, thanks!

Workaround: Rebind Drop Selected Item to another key, like R.

A workaround is to hold down Fn/Globe along with Command and Q.

Also, requesting ownership since the current owner has been inactive since 2015.

Can confirm in 1.21.8
