[MC-83488] Camera moving on its own after Windows update/mouse moving on its own/mouse drifts/fake F8 cinematic camera

Workaround

This issue seems to be resolved by right clicking the launcher shortcut and selecting properties then compatibility and then checking the box for "Disable display scaling on high DPI settings"

After updating to Windows 10 the camera is moving like in cinematic mode but cinematic mode is off. Also the camera movement speed is not slowed like it would be in cinematic mode the camera just keeps moving.

Sorry for the late reply but yes it does happen in 15w31B as well. The fix listed above in the description is the only way I have found to make it work right. That fix also solves other problems with apps displaying blurry for me on windows 10.

It have the same issue. "Disable display scaling on high DPI settings" also worked for me. My graphics card Nvidia GeForce GT 730M.

I seem to have an idea as to why this is happening. Only Nvidia cards. Opening F3 without the fix detailed in the description shows the display resolution to be roughly 1.2x as large as the desktop resolution. (ie Display in F3 menu states 1920x1080 when in fact my desktop resolution is 1600x900), and going Fullscreen (F11) gives the same mouse movement problems and Display res mismatch, but pressing escape to access the menu shows the mouse unable to click on things unless it is slightly up and to the left. as if the game's resolution and the display are not in sync. Applying the fix restores the appropriate Display resolution in-game, and fullscreen menus also function normally. This is still happening on 1.8.9 for me.
EDIT: Should append, DSR is disabled in the NVIDIA control panel, and my GPU is a GTX 960, Java 8, Windows 10

Flagged "Resolved"... no, not really. I am testing the new BETA launcher. Oh yeah, I had to look up this NOT YET FIXED-FLAGGED RESOLVED bug report to see how to "PATCH NOT YET FIXED" bug on the BETA. TLDR:
On newer versions of win 10 the 'Disable display scaling on high DPI settings' has been removed so i instead checked the 'Override high DPI scaling behavior scaling performed by:' and set the drop down box below to 'Application' - this fixed it for me

I was having an issue where the camera would constantly move in a random direction when minecraft was on my second screen, on my primary screen this never occurred, i have also experienced the same issue on both my new pc (i7 [email protected] 32GB@3200Mhz ram GTX 1070 dual 4k Display windows 10 pro 64bit) and my old pc (i7 [email protected] 32GB@1333MHz ram GTX 770 dual 4k Display windows 10 home 64bit) this is on minecraft 1.12 with Minecraft's integrated version of java.
reading this bug report's workaround section i tried to do that but on my version of windows (version 1703) i can't find the option "Disable display scaling on high DPI settings" so i tried using the 'Override high DPI scaling behavior scaling performed by' which is basically a more flexible option, and it seems to work setting it to application.

Help, Please The Same thing Happened to me Im in 2017 but playing on 1.8.9 it's effecting Minecraft on the Title screen to In game its not Cinematic Mode I already tried that also, the responses of the game are really slow like I press "T" to type and than I type and 3 secs later it enters I have a really fast computer and I dont think this is what is causing it I've been trying to fix for 3 days now please help!

late, but it still happens, expect it continues after exiting f3, resetting or changing key binds doesn't help. nor can i figure out the previous solution as right clicking the launcher only brings up "close all tabs"
