It is probably due to the fix for MC-84078

Steps to reproduce the issue?

It's very random, but I found it more likely to happen when immediately after catching something you spam the right click

It might help to reduce the Max Framerate, to replicate as closely as possible what happened for my old computer

Windows 10 Home x64, Java 8, Intel Core 2 Quad CPU @ 2.50GHz
Minecraft Java basically on the lowest settings except render distance (7)
