Iron Golems wont spawn in villages, even there are over 15 villagers (I have tested it in about 10 superflat worlds and counted villagers)

From the Minecraft Wiki:
In order to spawn, the village must contain more than 20 doors. One Iron Golem will be able to spawn for every 10 Villagers in a village.
I propose reopening this issue.
I provided my reasoning here. Also, the Minecraft Wiki documents behavior as is, bugs and all. It doesn't just document features. So just because it says it in the wiki, doesn't make it intended behavior.
This should be reopened by a mod. The issue is not if Iron Golems can spawn, it is that they do not spawn because villages do not generate in a way that allows iron golems to spawn.
@Jermey absolutely. The problem is that mods don't pay attention to old issues like these. I might have to make a new ticket JUST to draw attention to this one... 😛
This is an issue from 2013, it will not be reopened, and you will not intentionally create duplicates!
@FVbico Why can't you reopen this one? What year it's from shouldn't matter, it's a bug, and the resolution isn't correct. Read my reddit post and comments for more info.
This is WAI, that it doesn't occure in a default village is not the bug here, nor is it a bug; lowering the requirements or changing the villager spawning sizes are both feature requests.
And what evidence do you have that the creators intended for Iron Golems to not be obtainable from any naturally occurring village, even one in Superflat? Just because something is listed on the wiki, doesn't mean that it's a feature. The wiki documents things as is, not as the devs meant them to be.
Unable to reproduce, my iron golem farm works just fine.
