Chunks won't load while in minecart

Every time I hop in a minecart and start rolling the chucks completely stop loading around me. The minecart will only travel the distance that the chunks have loaded and then it glitches out. Once I've reached the edge of the chunks that are still loaded the things get weird. The minecart sound is still going but either the minecart is frozen at the edge of the loaded chunks or it floats off into the abyss.

The way to reproduce this bug is simple:
1. Get in a minecart on a really long track
2. Start moving until the cart hits the edge of the loaded chunks

This is a really annoying bug because I was building a super long freeway and the game would not load the chunks when I was traveling in a minecart. Please fix this in the next snapshot. Thank you.
