This occurred in a desert Biome village at night.
Steps to reproduce:
1 get the rails to both me curved and trying to connect from a one block height difference.
2. Get a villager onto the lower block, with it surrounded by the other block with the rail and two block on the sides, not holding rails, and the 4th side having a rain connected to the curved one.
3. Position another villager (or other mob and even yourself) to touch the villager's collision box so that it's being pushed into the upper rail block at a diagonal angle as to ensure a mine cart would bounce that way.
4. Shift click to place the mine cart on the rail block with the villager instantly being placed in it, and push the mine cart.
Note: when i did it, a villager pushed the minecart and they were "talking" to each other.

why has nobody reviewed this issue yet?

There, confirmed. Doesn't even need villagers.

This should occur in any gamemode then (except spectator), i'll test to see if ones spawned by dispensers can glitch it too.

Okay, so it does work with blocks placed by dispenser and, the minecart ALWAYS goes into the block if the rails are curved, also I found two more bugs whilst testing.
and an extension of this one. The extension is that if the minecart travel downwards diagonally, They'll also be glitched into the block, and depending on speed, possibly more. I also observed than when a minecart was placed on the powered rails (as seen in the newest screenshot) It stayed with in the block, but if a dispenser did it, it would go entirely through the block itself and continue on to latching to another rail!

The other two bugs are... when a villager is in the minecart (for some reason this only works at night or during I'd use both) and they are on two rails that are touched by solid blocks on the ends, they begin moving around and bouncing of the blocks' sides with no apparent force except for the villagers themselves (shown in villager minecrat screenshot above). It even happens slowly if it were on powered rails turned off! Works with any rail type if duplicable. Also, minecarts with no riders automatically bounce off of walls when on powered on rails.

Villagers are moving own their own in the minecarts, ONLY occurs under these conditions, Nighttime and raining. Also, it's extremely laggy once you re-log or go to another tab and come back on...

THIS IS NOT A DUPLICATE There are two aspects of this bug that ARE NOT DUPLICATED ANYWHERE. The turned rails portion, and the minecarts bouncing off of blocks and with villagers in them!!! This was a mistake!!!!

See MC-64836.

Turned Rails portion is not a duplicate, it's more of a related bug.

The other ticket is titled:
Minecarts glitch through the stop block of a track that ends with a turn or a downward slope
emphasis mine. How is this not a duplicate?

It is not explained or desribed in any way in the ticket, or as how to reproduced EVEN in the comments.

It is now.

Oh well, thanks for helping anyways. You're doing a great job keeping up withthe bugs by the way. And has the glitching into the ground bug been fixed in 15w49b?

Unlikely.

Minecart look like they are floting in air an doesn't look like it is on the track this is on the Xbox one edition
