What happened: In a joined dungeon there was 3 chests spawned in an elbow or L shape the graphics could not decide which to use as the double. sorry I broke one before I thought to take a screenshot.
What should of Happened: the game should of checked and changed the spawn placement of the dungeon chests so they did not appear in this formation.

Is this still an issue in the most recent versions (currently that is 1.10.2, or 16w43a) of Minecraft? If so, please update the affected versions and help us keeping this ticket updated from time to time. If you are the owner/reporter of this ticket, you can modify the affected version(s) yourself.
Due to MC-124960, I'm no longer able to find any dungeons at the given seed and coordinates in 1.13.2. However, as @unknown said, chest handling was changed before the world generator was, so this could probably be reliably reproduced between 17w47a and 18w06a.
I am simply unable to reproduce this in 18w43c because the dungeons don't generate with the most recent version of the world generator at the given seed and coordinates. Creating a world with the dungeons in past versions like 1.12.2 and upgrading also doesn't work because the dungeons require a dungeon count of 100 to generate, which in turn requires a customized generator, and apparently customized worlds loaded in 18w43c have their entire terrain reset (loading the region files from a backup doesn't help either).
If by a miracle any moderator sees this, I think an appropriate resolution would be Cannot Reproduce. However, as @unknown said, the chest handling changes in 17w47a possibly fixed this issue, so it's likely that this could have been fixed as well.
Please include the seed + coordinates.
