I am also having this issue.
I am experiencing this as well, I am having to resort to holding down f3+c and crashing the game to get out of the bed.
I am also having this exact issue, minecraft was working fine for my world until I upgraded it from 18w46a to 18w47a. I am backing it up before upgrading so I can backtrack if i need to.
I am having this problem with 18w30b, copying the regions and players data into a new world with that same seed did not fix the issue for me.
I'm just got this error is 18w30b. I can't load the world it just crashes in a second or so.
I can confirm for 16w03a as well

Thank you this worked 🙂 It seems that the fix I found online earlier for a different problem (one fixed by a later snapshot anyway I think) was the cause of this error.
I have added the manually triggered crash report.
I have the same issue
I got the same thing, I tried going into the nether and saving and updating from there, saving again after updating, then traveling to the overworld away form the village. I then get the error when I travel towards the village in the overworld.
