[MC-97959] BGM only affected by master volume slider

Steps to reproduce:
-wait for background music to play
-try to change the volume per music volume slider

Result:
Music keeps playing at same volume even if turned off.

Does this also affect music that starts playing after you changed the slider?

No, the music didn't start playing after the slider was turned down to muted.

Edit: This issue is probably somehow related to MC-35856 because when it occured, the music didn't stop even after going back to the title screen.
