I'm trying to make a custom resource pack with custom music and sounds for a map for 1.9. I also want to incorporate the /playsound which will play the record discs with my custom music files which I done everything. Here's the problem, when ever I try to play the record discs or any other minecraft sound using the /playsound command, it would always come up "An error occurred while attempting to perform this command" I even took off the resourcepack and used the default minecraft 1.9 and the same thing happened. I even reinstalled 1.9 and the same thing happened.

This worked when I used a different custom resource pack with the same music in 1.8. I just wanted to transfer it into a resource pack made for 1.9 and it played perfectly fine in 1.8. But in 1.9 it had this problem.
it's now /playsound <sound> <catagory> <player> etc
if you searched you could see this was a change in 1.9 snapshots
I did /playsound and it said what it usually would come up "/playsound <sound> <player> [x] [y] [z] [volume]" So in that case what would the command be to play record discs?
/playsound <sound> <source> <player> [x] [y] [z] [volume] [pitch] [minimumVolume]
/playsound minecraft:records.13 record @p [x] [y] [z] [volume] [pitch] [minimumVolume]
Didn't do anything. I copied and pasted the command and nothing played. It can't be my minecraft because i reinstalled 1.9. Just 1.9 itself.
What's the file for resourcepacks when adding custom music? I have mine as .ogg which worked in 1.8 and previous versions. I can tell they changed a lot of the formats in 1.9 which is a bit annoying.
Invalid format. Type /playsound to get the syntax needed.
