character moves back towards enemies when click away on the screen

This happens way more in big boss fights or fights with multiple enemies, clicking in the corner of the screen away from the enemies so I can go and heal but for some reason I start moving back towards the enemies.
Happens more often if my character is behind the enemies and is EXTREMELY annoying. I have died so many times to this while trying to get away to heal. I’m level 100 at this point but I might just give up trying to play until this is fixed because I keep getting killed by this bug, or an enderman or an evoker or the damn dartbacks, but mostly this bug
