Minecraft Launcher on Linux still Offers Minecraft Dungeons Even After Bought It

You guys offer Minecraft Dungeons on Linux version of Minecraft Launcher and I bought the game because I expected the launcher will support the game in Linux. After buying the game (hero edition), the launcher still offers Minecraft Dungeons and does not provide any way to download and install the game.

Why offer the game in the Linux launcher if the game does not have official support and does not run natively in Linux?

Do you plan to support the game in linux?

Hi there,

At the moment, I don't believe that Minecraft Dungeons can be played on Linux. The only devices supported are Windows 7/8/10, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PS4.

Also, you will need to download a separate launcher to play Minecraft Dungeons. This works as intended.

The "BUY NOW" button in the launcher takes you to our purchasing site where you can see what plattforms the game is supported for. Minecraft Dungeons is not supported for Linux, only Windows (and consoles).
