bought the game in the windows store. Why does the launcher say I still need to buy? I need the game in the launcher in order to use my ps4 controller on my PC. If there is another way to use the ps4 controller, please help me do so.

Yes the launcher does not support purchases made on the Microsoft Store, only purchases done through minecraftdungeons.net. This is per design.
As per the PS4-controller support this is not the right place to ask for help I am afraid, please contact customer support. According to our help center Accepted Controllers for Minecraft Dungeons the DualShock 4 controller is supported.
