Hello, I've discovered this bug that seemingly never has occurred to me before, I do not know what has caused it, but what I can say is all I do is receive an error on the launcher: "unable to activate skin" and on the website when I apply a skin nothing seems to change.

this same thing is happening to me, it lets me switch between all of my skins except for one, where it says that its unable to activate the skin, and the website just does nothing when i try to upload the file there. it is a new skin but i made another after it and was able to activate the other one just fine, and they were both made on the same website, the skindex : (

Attached is the skin that isn't working for me, please do not redistribute outside of testing the bug.

[media]I imported and exported from gimp without changing anything and then it suddenly works, attached is the exported (working version) aswell

@ethan emmanuel broomfield you have to type run in taskbar and you have type %appdata% after typing you will have to click on .minecraft folder after clicking on it at the end you will find your launcher.log.
This report has been resolved as fixed. Please refer to MCL-16650 which is a new report about the issue.
An attachment with a disallowed file extension has been removed from this ticket.
Executable files and documents are not allowed as attachments.
Please attach crash reports, log files and screenshots as they are instead of pasting them into a document.
