Unable to activate skin error appears after trying to apply skin

skin works for me unless i click it 20 times. then it does this.

Hello! Please attach the skin you attempt to upload as well as the launcher_log.txt found in Minecraft Data Folder after you try changing skin. It will help us identify what is going on 🙂

I should probably mention that it also shows the same error when you exceed rate limiting by trying to change the skins too quickly, I think the launcher should show a clearer message when the user tries to switch between skins too quickly, and display a rate limit exceeded error instead of the generic unable to activate skin error.

I'm reffering to that part by the way.

have this problem too. But when I do it, it happens with at least 50% of my skins

How do I get the launcher log? I use a mac by the way.

Does this issue occurs for specific skins or for all of them? Could you try 5 or more different skins from the ones that issue occurs on?

Im able to add the skin to my launcher, but can not actually use it. I am still able to use my older skins, but all the new ones do not work. (edit) The skins I tried were off of https://www.minecraftskins.com. When downloading a skin off there it originally trys download as a WEBP file, but I changed it to a PNG. In the end it still didn't work. On the other hand I tried a different site ( minecraft.novaskin.me ) and it instantly started as a PNG, which worked. So maybe its the first site specifically that isn't working right now? Then again I don't know why you would still be able to upload it, yet not use.
