[MCL-18269] Launcher says "oops, something went terribly wrong and you probably encountered a bug. Report it here."

NOT 1.6.93 (legacy) should be 1.17 Minecraft Java Edition

I paid for the Minecraft Java Edition and when it went to launch it said it could not launch. I relaunched and now it says that I have encountered a bug. Not sure if it is my laptop or a bug. Can you help me?
