I have tried to troubleshoot the problem but it seems that no matter what I do, every time I try to launch the launcher from Game Pass, it says "Unable to update the Native Minecraft Launcher." It always stops at the same point and gives this message.

Uninstalling and reinstalling did nothing for me, even on a new drive. Even after that I get the same error.
Yea. I have the same problem too after trying to update from the older to the gamepass one. Any solution that I tried doesn't work... 😞

I have the same issue trying to install. I have tried installing from the Microsoft store and Mojang, both fail, however the 32bit launcher installs without issue.

Uninstalling and reinstalling to a different drive is a temporary fix, but I can confirm this did happen to me for two of my drives.
