I downloaded the new Windows 10/11 edition from Minecraft's website and installed it. but it is not opening. And also to directly download it from the Xbox app, it is asking to have Xbox game pass, even if the launcher is free. To download it from MS store there is no download button, it is replaced with a greyed out arrow button.

Does this issue occur on newest version of the Launcher?
Does this issue occur on minecraft.net website/MS store version of the Launcher?
Have you tried to install Launcher from the minecraft.net website/MS store?
Have you tried older version of the Launcher (Windows 7/8) minecraft.net website?
Are you logged in in both Xbox app, MS store, and Launcher with the same MS account?
Have you tried signing out of all your Windows Apps, and the signing in again?
Have you tried installing it in any other directory?
Is your Windows and associated apps (Xbox app, MS store) up-to-date? (Update them regardless)
Have you tried to re-registering MS store as written here?
Do you have enough free space on your disc drive?
Have you tried downloading and installing 'Xbox Identity Provider' found here https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/p/xbox-identity-provider/9wzdncrd1hkw#activetab=pivot:overviewtab (or in MS store)?
Do you use VPN or any of the incompatible software on machine you try to log-in?
Could you provide us with more in-depth repro steps?
