After some more testing deleting the .minecraft folder I think the problem lies in the world name. Sry had to wierdly cut the video because of the data limit.
@Harry Morton don't worry about the size, mine is 1,2 GB and it always worked. And about the wasted money: I'm sure they will fix the error soon, I mean it's not occasional, everyone's having it, they can't ignore that. So I hope they will extend all realms by the time the error occurred.
I only found out that it works for really small worlds sometimes, like 2mb small. That might suggest the servers are stressed, so you could get lucky and hit a good spot with a small world, but will be more likely to fail with a bigger one. Maybe the problem has been getting worse because we are all tryharding. I've been trying for four days straight, no idea if I should stop.
I am finding llamas already decorated, which I cannot tame, wandering onto my farm and hanging around. Usually in a set of two. One is in my pigpen at the moment (not sure how it got through the fence), and the other is wandering outside the pens.
I have also found llamas with blue carpets, but no trader, wandering around my farm. They cannot be ridden or fed. Also they do not follow wheat nor does a lead attach.
This is really bad

SOLVED: I did not have the latest drivers installed for my graphics card.
Yes, I just found one in my horse pen. I don't think they should spawn inside a fence or so on.

I have this issue also. I cannot remove a lead from a fence by clicking the mob or by striking the lead.
I have also found llamas with blue carpets, but no trader, wandering around my farm. They cannot be ridden or fed. Also they do not follow wheat nor does a lead attach.
I can confirm https://youtu.be/XJR7WEeB09U
I hope this feature comes back in the next snapshot it makes no sense to remove this "bug".
I'm having same problem
