Minecraft Dungeons won't launch from the minecraft launcher.

When I try to launch Dungeons, It gives me the error message:
Unable to run program.

I have attached a screenshot and the launcher log.

Could you answer few questions regarding this issue, it will help with the investigation: 

  • Have you tried to install Launcher from the minecraft.net website/MS store?

  • Are you logged in in both Xbox app, MS store, and Launcher with the same MS account? 

  • Have you tried signing out of all your Windows Apps, and the signing in again?

  • Is your Windows and associated apps (Xbox app, MS store) up-to-date? 

  • Have you tried reinstalling Dungeons?

  • Do you have enough free space on your disc drive?

  • Have you tried booting Dungeons from MS store/Xbox app?

  • Could you provide us with more in-depth repro steps?

  • I have not tried to install the launcher.

  • I am logged in on those accounts.

  • I have signed out and back in again

  • All my apps are up-to-date

  • I have more than enough free space

  • I have not tried booting it up from those apps.

  • I do not know what else I could give you other than the fact that i tried to repair the game and that didn't work either.

UPDATE:
I reinstalled the game and it is still bugged, I will try to reinstall the launcher now.

UPDATE 2:
Reinstalling the launcher did not work.

Please try booting the game through MS store/Xbox app.
Also please check if you have .NET Framework 3.5 installed on your PC
Also please check for Windows updates anyways in settings->update & security->Windows update.
Did you try resetting MS store or re-registering MS store as written here
Please also try installing the older version of the Launcher (https://launcher.mojang.com/download/MinecraftInstaller.msi) (uninstalling previous version beforehand).

I do not have a different disc drive, Java is fully updated, and dungeons is not running in the task manager.

Could you please check in the Dungeons folder if you can boot the game from there?
Also you might log out of your current account on Xbox app / MS store and sign in again and see if you can download xbox identity provider.
Also please start the Launcher as Administrator.

Launching it as an admin worked! One question though. Will I have to launch it as an admin every time or is there a workaround?

Hi again.

You can right click the icon, select properties, and in shortcut tab look for Advanced options, and select run as Administrator from there.
Other option is in the properties, go to security and change permissions there.

Closing the ticket as cannot reproduce.

Neither of these will worked.
