I went to launch minecraft today, however, everytime I try to launch it, it doesn't finish and it always says unable to update Native Browser. I have tried everything I could think of. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling minecraft, opening with admin., restarting my pc, and even deleting the entire .minecraft folder. Nothing has worked, and I am honestly getting upset with this. I have been trying to fix this for the past 2 hours and nothing has worked. I would really appreciate if I could be told how to actually fix this issue.

Hi Cyanyoulater. Have you had any luck with this issue. I posted the very same issue the day before you and now it's been merged with a load of others and says resolved. I've tried all the fixes I can find online and nothing works. 😞
I actually have! First I did take out my saves folder out of the .minecraft folder. But after that, basically what I did was completely uninstall minecraft and then went to the minecraft website, logged in, then hovered over games, clicked on minecraft, then try for free. Scrolled download, clicked on alternative download, and then downloaded the windows 7/8 alternative, which is labeled as Minecraft.exe. Then just don't mess with trying to update, just play as you usually do, optifine even works just fine. For whatever reason, when though I'm running windows 10, minecraft seems to work better with the windows 7/8 alternative download. Hope this helps!

Please start that support ticket with the following text: "Reporting from unable to update Minecraft Native Launcher bug to provide the information". This is so that our support team can find you easily and forward that to us.
Then include screenshots of the launcher, the launcher text log, your Xbox Gamertag, and information on how you own Minecraft Java and/or Bedrock. Was it a direct purchase on minecraft.net or by game pass?
We do not have enough information to find the cause of this issue.
