"Oh no! Something went wrong, and we couldn't connect to the Minecraft services."

For some reason, whenever I hop on the new Minecraft Launcher that's on the Microsoft Store, it reads at the bottom that, "Oh no! Something went wrong, and we couldn't connect to the Minecraft services." This is a problem, because it displays that I don't own Java, when I actually do. Alongside that issue, it doesn't give me the Bedrock Edition of MC which is usually what happens when you get the new launcher and you own 1 of the 2 versions of Minecraft.

Seeing this on Windows 7 for about 2 weeks now.

That application DOES NOT EXIST for Windows versions prior to 10, OF COURSE it does not solve the issue for the Windows 7/8 launcher!

It looks like you folks added a Windows 10 ONLY requirement to the 7/8 launcher, 4'th line of the log complains about not finding XBox Gaming Services WHICH IS ALSO SPECIFIC TO WINDOWS 10.
