[MCL-22476] Skin mistake

I clicked on the skin option on the launcher login interface to change my skin, but after Java responded and entered the game, the skin did not change to Alex. Then I changed the "Change Skin" interface on the official website. After entering the game, the skin is still Alex.

im having this same issue now idk how to re-report this issue but could someone tell me what i need to do to fix this? also if i create 2 worlds wile the app is still open my skin defaults to steve so if anyone can help i would appreciate it
