[MCL-2277] I went to go download the new version of minecraft 1.7.4 (this also happens with any version after this, so including the snapshots and 1.7.5). The version downloads then the Mojang screen pops up for about 6 seconds then goes back to the launcher screen.

The game was going to load and I was going to be able to play minecraft with the new features

The game goes to the loading screen then crashes and goes back to the launcher.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. choose any version past 1.7.2 (including any snapshot)
2. click download and play
3. wait for it to download, you will see the mojang screen
4. the game crashes and shows the launcher

The Intel 4 Series (and older) video cards are unable to play 1.7.4 and future versions of Minecraft. You will need to buy a new video card or computer to play new versions.

For now, you can still play 1.7.2 or older versions of the game. To change your game to a different version, start the launcher. Select Edit Profile. In the "Use Version" dropdown menu, select the game version you want. Then click Save Profile.
